Hey dolls,
So here in Southern Cali it's still really hot. And it'll be that way for awhile. It may start to cool down the end of October. Anywho, I thought I share what I'm currently using on my face.
-St. Ives "Fresh Skin" Makeup Remover Cleanser (A cleanser is a must!)
-Clean & Clear "Deep Cleaning" astringent for sensitive skin
-Equate Apricot scrub from Wal Mart

-Ambi "Complexion Cleansing bar" (Review HERE) *Not shown in picture*
-Rubbing alcohol
I still manage to get a few breakouts every month, but those are menstrual breakouts that I always get right before or during that time of the month.
Break down: Why I I use these inexpensive products
I will go in the order of which product I use first on a typical day if I were to wear makeup. On days that I don't wear makeup I don't use the makeup remover facial cleanser...Makes sense right? lol
1. I'll use a baby wipe to remove my makeup. Lately I've been using Huggies baby wipes since I get coupons for those.
2. The ST. Ives I don't use all that often because I don't wear makeup all that often. This has lasted me a little of last year & this year. A little does go a long way. You don't have to use much.
3. While I'm in the shower I'll use my Equate facial scrub then use the Black Opal bar all over my face. I then dry my face with my facial towel (Separate from my wash cloth...post on reason for that soon).
4. Next, I use my Clean & Clear astringent. I use a little on a cotton ball & remove the dirt & oil that didn't get removed from process 1-3.
5. I then put my Aveeno moisturizer on which has SPF15 in it *very important*.
6. After my moisturizer has been on for an hour or so I remove it with rubbing alcohol & a cotton ball. Reason being is that I have oily skin, so it produces it's own oils & makes my face more oily.
7. Lastly, I use the Dr. Fred Summit bleaching cream for the dark spots that a pimple has left behind. The combination of using a facial scrub & a bleaching cream helps this situation (Lighten the dark spots) as well as the help from the Black Opal bar.
You can always check out the other post I did not too long ago on my skin care regimen & see the differences in what I use now & then HERE
