In my last 2012 Clear Skin Challenge post I presented my skin type, products I had planned on purchasing, products I would be using the start of this challenge & goals HERE. I've started my challenge Monday which I stated "Jan. 2nd" :) Below I will introduce my skin regimen for the days I wear makeup & the days I don't. Like I stated before, your routine on those [articular days matter. We must take extra steps when removing & cleaning our face on the days we wear makeup :)
Skin Regimen: My OILY Skin
Off days (no makeup)- Morning: Baking Soda (wet face, and massage baking soda all over face) then rinse. This helps minimize pores. I've found that my pores are HUGE from cheek-nose-cheek *straight across that area* then I use a cotton ball to clean my face with Witch Hazel. Middle of the day: by this time my face is oily, I may use a baby wipe that has Shea Butter in it, then splash some water on my face & dry it off with a paper towel, and ONCE again clean my face with Witch Hazel. Night: use my AMBI cleanser bar, Equate facial scrub (depending on when the last time I used this product), Witch Hazel, and St. Ives lotion *just a little*
On days (wear makeup)- My routine for Morning-Mid day is the same for off-days when I don't wear makeup. Night: Use wipe (baby wipes is what I prefer right now), St. Ives Makeup remover/Facial cleanser (to remove the makeup I didn't catch from using a wipe), Equate facial scrub, AMBI bar, then wait 10mins to clean my face with Witch Hazel.
**Either on Fridays or Sundays I'll do a face mask by Montagne Jeunesse or another brand**
Please share you skin care regimen below, or if you have a blog post, link that below. I would, and I'm sure others as well would love to check that out.
Also, what type of wipes or technique do yo use when removing your makeup?
**In the next post I'll try to share some tips that I've come across. One was the Baking soda which helps minimize pores. Let me know how that works for those that may try that out. I'll be sharing more added goals as well to my list*
Headed to clearer skin :)

Great post! I too have oily skin and large pores on my cheeks. I never knew that baking soda helps aid in minimizing pores. Definitely will have to try that tip out. Good luck with ur quest!
